IN THE FAMILY opens University of Michigan health forums!
On March 17, Joanna Rudnick will speak at the Ann Arbor District Library following a screening In The Family. The free event is the first in a series of health research forums hosted by the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research of the University of Michigan Health System.
Joanna and a panel of specialists from the UM Comprehensive Cancer Center will answer questions about cancer and genetic testing.
This film viewing is part of a grant funded through the National Institutes of Health entitled “Engaging the Community in Clinical Research,” to encourage the community to become more aware of and involved in health research. The health research forums were designed to provide information to the public and to present an opportunity for community members and health researchers to interact.
